Green Tree Frog
The green tree frog is a small, bright green amphibian known for its smooth skin and sticky toe pads, which help it climb trees and plants. Native to parts of Australia and the southeastern United States, it thrives in warm, moist environments like swamps, forests, and wetlands. These frogs are mostly nocturnal and feed on insects, making them helpful for natural pest control. Their distinctive croaking calls are often heard during mating season or after rain.
